St Johns Visit on Monday 29th June
Sue from St Johns came today. She taught us how to call 111 in an emergency. Some of us didn't know our address so we need to learn that in case we have to call for help and tell the ambulance where we live.

Duffy Books
Today the children all got their Duffy Books at the Role model assembly.
Our Role Model was Amanda Billing who plays "Sarah Potts" on Shortland Street. She acted out a scene with Mrs Kaa. We all loved it.
We also met our school Duffy book sponsor "Rosemary"
Room 10 made a video thanking Rosemary for being our school sponsor.

Skoolbo
One of our favourite game to practise our phonics and our basic facts is Skoolbo.
This game lets us race against students from other NZ Schools and it helps us with our instant recall.
This game is free for children in NZ schools and you can use it at home too.
You might need to ask Mum/Dad/Nana to help you download the game. (go to the website and click downloads from the top)
