Students as Teachers (part two)

We even had excercise on our day. Paige and Maia shared some gymnastics. They taught everyone to do a bridge. Paige came round to help everyone.

Whitiora and Fili-Williams shared their St Johns marching. They showed the class and then got everyone joining in.

We had a wonderful day and learnt so much from our fabulous teachers.

"Students as Teachers" Day

What a fun day we had with the children being teachers. They taught us so many new things.
Tiara taught us how to care for a pet. She has a new canary.

Charlotte taught us how to make marshmallow balls.

We had lots of children teach us to speak in different languages.
Sean taught us animal names in Russian and even shared a book with us written in Russian. The letters looked so different.

Dominic taught us some magic tricks

Iritana and Hera and Atiria taught us how to make loom bands.

We had some great lessons in speaking other languages.
Simione taught us to count to 10 in Tongan and how to say Hello and Goodbye.
Iusitini and Felosiai taught us to count in Tuvaluian.
Tatonga taught us to count to 20 in Kiribati.
It was so much fun copying what they said and making sure we were saying it correctly.

St Johns Visit on Monday 29th June

Sue from St Johns came today. She taught us how to call 111 in an emergency. Some of us didn't know our address so we need to learn that in case we have to call for help and tell the ambulance where we live.
Chance and Tiara got dressed in the uniform.
Mrs Taylor pretended to get hurt and they put bandages on her. Then we put bandages on each other. It was a fun day.
